It’s all Spider-Man’s fault! Benedict Cumberbatch defends Doctor Strange in No Return Home

The remarkable phenomenon of contemporary cinema, Spider-Man: No Return Home, is now available for digital purchase and rent. The feature still has something to talk about, featuring an intense plot that embraces the multiverse and the nostalgia of superhero movies.
Scheduled to arrive in the HBO Max catalog at some point this year, the third chapter of Tom Holland’s trilogy has a premise that still leaves many fans in doubt: after all, who was accountable for the appearance of villains from other dimensions to the MCU, the Spider-Man who made an unusual request to Doctor Strange or the wizard who performed the spell?
On the matter, Benedict Cumberbatch has his opinion. In discussion with Total Film magazine, the actor defended his character and placed the responsibility on Amigão da Neighborhood.
“I know we all adore Peter Parker, but can we just go back to where magic breaks like six times,” he asked.
This is not all conceit. I think part of it is a very calculated chance. But let’s see where it takes him [in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness].
Anyone who has watched Tom Holland’s last film at Marvel Studios knows that the outcome leaves excellent consequences for his character. However, it’s not just him who must deal with new challenges after an intense sequence of clashes and twists. In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the former Sorcerer Supreme (we know the title is Wong’s today) will have to face the decomposition of the multiverse.
